How do we bottle this up?
I want to feed it to my kids. I want them to grow up, learn, compete, and ball (whatever their form of ball is) like #jalenhurts .
What a game, but wow, what a team. I’ve watched his interview few times already and expect to keep coming back to it. First Oprah. Then Jalen. I’m liking this week for all the positive inspiration is bringing.

Rita G Patel dude, thank you for sharing this. Everyone else, read this. I’ve actually found myself getting pulled into to FB trolling clap backs the past two days. I wish I’d read this earlier. Sarah Silverman is hysterical, talented as all hell, bold (and I also think she’s stunning.)
But hearing stories like this…read the story and read how quickly the twitter convo turned from a troll calling her a “c*nt” to her pulling out of him that he’d been molested as a child, to … oh wow just read. #iamgrateful and #iamthankful for this share. #faithpatches

What a powerful story of how change is possible. Dialogue like this requires an open environment. I am proud of the individual who choose to publicly ask the question, but I’m also proud that he felt there was an environment safe enough for him to be willing to ask the question in the first place.
We reap the outcomes dictated by the environments we create. Let’s actively choose to create an environment where questions are welcome and conversations are welcome. We’ll win more hearts and minds that way #iamgrateful and #iamthankful for what Starbucks has done with this upstanders series. Nice work.
