It’s not often you get invited into someone else’s family. The past 24 hours, the TaxJar team did just that for me. Inviting me to participate in and share some thoughts at their company retreat: JarFest. Watching a highly functioning, engaged, aligned, and talented team of ~150 come together is powerful, and I’ll hold it as a symbol of as close to an ideal as I’ve seen of companies at their size. Hell, I’m fired up for what I’m certain they’re going to do the next 15 months. #iamgrateful and #iamthankful for the opportunity.
