When a friend is the first Engineering/Tech hire for a candidate you already love, that’s amazing. When you respond to a solicitation request from that candidate and make a donation, and your friend pings you instantly because he is simultaneously building an internal real time donation board and sees you atop it … well, that’s special. He sent me this text yesterday and he beat me sending him my receipt by a few minutes.
#iamgrateful and #iamthankful for knowing some amazing people. Ideally the best part of a work experience is the impact you have on the business. But I’ve learned, that it’s the connection you make with people that ends up being your true legacy.
